Our Nursery children had a wonderful adventure in Forest School. The children had so much fun creating their own slides and swings, exploring, taking safe risks and working together. Outdoor play like this builds confidence, creativity and important physical skills all while connecting with nature.

Our Reception children had a wonderful trip to Salisbury Market today! They explored the stalls, chatted with local traders and carefully chose fresh ingredients for their DT project. It was fantastic to see their confidence growing as they made decisions and handled money. We can't wait to see what delicious creations they make next!

A lovely day out at Riverbourne Community Farm. Our nursery children had such a wonderful visit today, meeting lots of friendly animals and even getting to feed them! It was a truly memorable experience. A hands-on experience full of learning, laughter and fresh air. Days like these are what childhood memories are made of.

We explored writing letters in the sand! Sensory, fun and full of learning. Perfect for building fine motor skills while enjoying a bit of creativity.

Our little learners went on a nature walk to explore and discover all kinds of natural treasures. Back in class they used their treasures to create fantastic, nature-inspired artwork. Such a fun way to combine exploration and creativity!

We've been celebrating Bonfire Night with some bright and creative artwork! The children loved exploring colours and different materials to capture the magic of fireworks.

We have been getting creative in the kitchen this week and learning how to use cutlery safely while making some tasty treats!

Our children have been learning all about colours in lots of fun and creative ways! It's amazing to see their curiosity and imagination shine.

Our builders loved exploring the Three Little Pigs this week. They told stories together, learnt some new special vocabulary and built some houses that were so strong even the Big Bad Wolf couldn't knock them down!

Our school nursery is officially open! Academy CEO, Mark Lacey came to open our nursery and shared a message that all are welcome at St Martin's. The children also planted a special tree as a permanent reminder of our very special first group of nursery students.
